When it comes to SEO, backlinks are still the bread and butter of getting your website higher rankings on search engines in 2022.
The more backlinks you have from referring domains, the better.
But acquiring backlinks can be a time-consuming process.
If you’re like most business owners, then you probably found websites related to your’s and then offered to trade links.
While this can be an effective way to increase your website’s visibility on search engines such as Google and Bing, it’s not the only way.
In fact, there are a number of easy ways to get permanent backlinks from more referring domains without having to beg for them.
In this video, I show you three of the best ways to quickly get permanent backlinks from more referring domains.
So read on for tips and tricks that will help improve your website’s search rankings today!
Permanent Backlinks From More Referring Domains: Video Description
If you want to successfully get to the top of Google search results then you need permanent backlinks from more referring domains.
Link building strategies are one of the most powerful ways to get high rankings on Google.
But you don’t need millions of backlinks.
All you need are a few high-quality backlinks.
So what are backlinks and why do you need them for Google SEO in 2022?
What are Backlinks and why are they important for SEO?
A backlink is when one website places a link on its webpage to another website – it might be a text link or an image link.
Backlinks are votes that tell search engines that your webpage is really good.
If a high-quality domain points a link towards your website then that backlink is more powerful than hundreds, if not thousands, of backlinks from websites with low authority.
Imagine that The Rock walked into Google’s HQ and told them that your Shopify store is “the greatest Shopify store in the world” and that it “must be at the top of search results”.
Google would probably listen, right?
I can’t stress this enough: more backlinks don’t mean higher rankings.
The most important thing is that you get high-quality permanent backlinks from trusted referring domains.
A truckload of low-quality backlinks or high-quality backlinks from one website to another isn’t enough.
It’s essentially one vote and as with any popularity contest, you need one vote from multiple people.
When it comes to Google SEO backlinks, we need more than one high authority domain linking to yours.
Even if you don’t have a single social media follower and nobody knows who you are, you can still build amazing backlinks.
1# Doing something original equals easy backlinks
I’ve had my content and my client’s content featured on some of the biggest websites on the planet – because they had something original.
This can be something as simple as survey results or an interview. This means that you don’t need anything fancy or completely original to get backlinks from your link-building strategy.
Sometimes all you need for Google SEO backlinks is something nobody has.
2# Wikipedia Backlinks
This is my absolute favourite backlink strategy and the best thing is that you don’t need to create any content.
Yup, zero writing.
So what is it?
Wikipedia needs no introduction.
You know what it is and you probably use it all of the time.
But what you might not know is that Wikipedia has millions of links pointing to the original source of the citation.
Websites and blogs shut down or they remove content all of the time.
This means that there are thousands of new broken links on Wikipedia every single day.
Wikipedia calls this link rot and when Wikipedia finds the broken link or if it has a missing citation, then they tag the link as either a dead link or Citation needed.
Here’s the fun part.
You can use online tools to search your niche and find dead links or citations needed.
Next, jump over to the Wayback Machine and paste the broken link in the search bar.
So the question is: how to get Wikipedia backlinks?
All you need to do is to copy and paste the content that no longer exists on your website and then update Wikipedia with a link to your new article.
You can do something very similar with missing citations and what’s really cool is that Wikipedia will send you a solid amount of traffic.
BUT that’s not the best part.
Broken links are horrible for Google SEO rankings in 2022.
Using a backlink research tool, you can find both existing and historical links to the original article.
You can then reach out to those websites and tell them that they have a broken link, but the content is now on your website.
Easy backlinks 🙂
#3 Link roundups get your permanent backlinks
Link roundups are daily, weekly or monthly blog posts that have backlinks to outstanding content.
Getting permanent backlinks from link roundups is easy.
First you need to find link roundups for your niche.
Use search strings in Google search, like “your keyword” + “link roundup”.
Next, you’ll have to pitch your resource and then politely ask to see if they will include a backlink to your website in the roundup.
And if your pitch is a good fit for the roundup, then you’ll create high-quality backlinks in no time at all.
#4 Permanent Backlinks From Help A Reporter Out
HARO for short is a daily newsletter with dozens of requests by journalists, YouTubers and podcasts looking for people to give a quote or be interviewed.
Many high-quality websites will quote you and create a backlink pointing to your website.
Google loves backlinks and for Google SEO in 2022, you’ll begin to see a steady increase in your search engine rankings when more websites link to your website.
